100238 | JAPAN. Mutsuhito (Emperor Meiji) bronze Award Medal. Dated Meiji 40 (March 1907). Commemorating the Second Conference at the Osaka Prefectural Medical School (55mm, 77.12 g, 12h).

 

Warrior standing facing, holding branch; seal script legend around / 會評品子尞阪大囬貳第 (the second conference at the Osaka Prefectural Medical School), five-pointed star with 尞 [in seal script] at center; 月三年十四治明 (the third month of the 40th year of the Meiji dynasty). Edge: Plain.

 

Gem Mint State. Warm chocolate brown surfaces, with a breathtakingly brilliant underlying iridiscence and prooflike nature. Highly impressive. Includes original box of issue (which does not fully clasp).
